Raised in a vibrant Caribbean home in Boston, Khandice Anselm learned early the values of respect, rhythm, and community. Surrounded by music, dancing, and her family’s generous spirit of hospitality, she quickly developed a deep affinity for the performing arts. She was put in her first dance class at 3 and has not stopped since! Khandice was awarded an Artistic Scholarship to Point Park University where she received her B.F.A in Dance and minor in Philosophy. While in college, she had the privilege of learning from choreographers such as Ursula Payne, Roni Koresh, Rennie Harris, Al Blackstone, Marc Spaulding, Maud Arnold, and more. In 2026, Khandice chose to continue her artistic journey through graduate study toward an MFA. Working across disciplines, she investigates movement and theories through the lens of film; she aims to create art that provokes conviction and leaves the viewer motivated. Khandice is beyond excited to start her journey at PHILADANCO!
