Mia Clark, a Philly native, began her dance training at the age of 9 at Living Arts Dance, Inc. under the guidance and mentorship of Jaquetta Colson. Following her high school graduation in 2024, she joined PHILADANCO’s Apprentice Company (D/2) under the direction of Donald T. Lunsford II, where she continued her dance training and had the pleasure of performing works by Tommie Waheed-Evans, Francisco Gella, Jeroboam Bozeman and Dawn Marie Bazemore, among others. In 2025, she trained with the Radio City Rockettes in their inaugural Dancer Development program, Rockettes Preparatory. In July of 2026, she had the honor of performing in the FIFA World Cup July 4th Ceremony with Balich Wonder Studios. She is currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania studying English and Dance, Theatre, and Performance on a full-ride scholarship. Mia is very grateful to be in her second season with PHILADANCO!
