Aliyah Clay is a dance and teaching artist from Newark, Delaware. In December 2022, she graduated early summa cum laude from University of the Arts where she received a BFA in Dance, with a minor in Business and a Pilates Mat certification. Her dance training includes Christina Cultural Arts Center, Dance4Life School of The Arts and Training Institute, Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Program, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and BalletX. She has performed works by numerous choreographers including Ulysses Dove, Helen Pickett, Gary Jeter, Sidra Bell and Gregory Dawson. Aliyah has worked closely with Tommie-Waheed Evans as a collaborator in Waheedworks. She is currently in her first season with Philadanco!
