Brittany Wright
Brittany began her training at age 4 at Olney Ballet Center under Ms Jane Bittner. She went on to study with Ms Patricia Berrend in Olney, formerly of Washington Ballet. She also studied with Aaron Jackson, Demetri Malikov, and Tim Fox. She continued her training at Hope Garden Ballet under Ms Fran Ichijo and, during her senior year in high school, at City Dance in Rockville where she studied under Stanislavsky Issaey, Ludmika Morkovina, Caroline Rocher and Rob Priore. She then spent the next four years studying dance at Towson University, receiving her BFA in dance and performance under professors including Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Catherine Horta-Hayden, Alison Sidenstricker, Runqiou Du, and Vincent Thomas. She spent summers at intensives including Hubbard Street, Ruth page, Alonzo King Lines, Miami City Ballet, Carolina Ballet, and Arts of Umbrella. Upon graduating from Towson University she joined Philadelphia Danco Company also known as Philadanco. Performing works by Ray Mercer, Francisco Gella, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Ephrat Asherie, Bernard Gaddis, and the list goes on. Brittany also teaches Jazz, Ballet, and Modern at Philadanco and DanceExpress. She privately instructs yoga as well.
